Board Certification
Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 08:54PM June is shaping up to be a great month with regard to staff development at Continuum. Michael Gallagher has been awarded the designation of Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
To become an OCS, a therapist must demonstrate advanced knowledge in the field of orthopaedic physical therapy, which encompasses neuro-musculoskeletal examination and treatment of the entire human body. A therapist seeking OCS credentials must demonstrate thousands of hours spent directly in the field of orthopaedic rehabilitation, as well as the pursuit of continuing education in orthopaedics during his or her career.
Congratulations, Michael!
